I was born in Louisiana, moved to Virginia for a bit, started growing up in Texas, and finished the process in Maryland for high school and college. Although any noticeable Texan traits disappeared years ago, I still maintain an avid love of all foods Tex-Mex, specifically tacos.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing around with 2d and 3d graphics programs, running, and tinkering. Music is also an important part of my life and is tracked, for better or for worse, by Last.fm.
I am also an adventurer! In the last three years, I have been to São Paolo and Natal (Brazil), London (England), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), Ireland, Mexico, Paris (France), and a spattering of cities in the USA: Seattle, Tampa Bay, San Francisco (thrice!), New York City, Atlanta, San Antonio, and all around the DC Metropolitan Area. Future plans include Israel, China, and the moon.
Finally, I am a fan of all things Computer Science—research, theory, application, teaching, even debugging (sometimes). I hope to one day be a professor in some subfield of AI, ready to impart wisdom about life, algorithmic analysis, optimization, and Asimov on the unsuspecting student.
